* This Modchip supports Stealth (6 or 7 wire) or normal (4 wire) in all of the models listed above except with the older 1xxx (PU7/8) models which runs in 4 wire mode only. It can also work as a Standard 4 wire chip even on the 750x / 900x Models without a wire link.

The new PSone ModChip is for use in the recently introduced PSone consoles (the small PlayStation console). It is a 'Stealth and Bios Patch Chip' all in one which means all games should play fine without the need for a boot disk.

It has been tested on nearly all 2001 games with no problem and the boot works every time. One customer sent us a message that said "your PSone Modchip is great :-)) ". Need we say more?

It can be connected in 3 different modes:

1. Bios Patch Only Mode (4 wires)
When connected in this mode a PSXV2EU ModChip (see below) must also be fitted to the PSone .... the PSone chip simply allows the Imports to load without need for a boot disk.

2. Bios Patch and Standard Mode (6 Wires and 2 links on the chip)
When connected in this mode all Games including Imports (Not Antimod Games) will Load with no need for a boot disk.

3. Bios Patch and Stealth Mode ( 8 Wires)
In this mode all Games Including Imports and Antimod games should load with no need for a boot disk. However we do not guarantee compatibility with ALL Antimod games.

Enigma, far from canceling the modchip, has instead renamed the device to "X-ecuter", and in doing so, made it far easier to install than the previous effort.
Unlike PS2 modchips such as Messiah, anyone with a basic knowledge of soldering can now chip an Xbox, without any precision micro-soldering equipment.

The X-ecuter is a new Xbox mod chip with the same characteristics as its predecessors like the Enigmah, but with only 1 wire to solder (with 11 solder points). The installation takes no more than 10 minutes.
